Our storybook setting here at the Valle Escondido Resort, Golf, and Spa is secluded, exclusive, and a world away, yet you don’t need to venture far to find everything you want for a relaxing or active vacation.

Resort Amenities

Golf
If golf is your passion, you’ll find there aren’t many places in the world with a year-round climate averaging between 70 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit. This means you can play golf year-round on our challenging course with three par-four holes and six par three’s. Almost every hole plays over the river at least once, so if you make it through without losing a ball to the Quebrada Grande, you have joined the ranks of only a select few!

Tennis or Racquetball
If racquet sports are more your style, the Valle Escondido Resort, Golf, and Spa features outdoor tennis and indoor racquetball. Our first class tennis court has high fencing and PlexiPave sport finishing system. Our indoor racquetball court has a fine hardwood floor and a glass observation area for family or friends.

Fitness Center
This is not your typical workout room in a hotel. Our first class Fitness Center features the best Life Fitness equipment, as well as a large assortment of both free weights and exercise machines to work every part of your body. Our club and fitness director can assist you with the equipment and help you with your workouts. We also have cardiovascular equipment for those who like to really get the heart pumping!

Swimming Pools
If a swim is part of your daily routine, the resort offers a large heated indoor lap pool in our clubhouse. We use a salt treatment system that leaves your skin feeling like you have just had a spa treatment. We also have scheduled aqua aerobics classes in this pool, which is restricted to adults over 14 years of age. It is open until 6 pm. We also have three outdoor pools, which are ideal for children of all ages. The outdoor pools close at 8 pm.

Jacuzzis, Saunas, and Steam Baths
After that workout or swim how about a nice sauna or steam bath? Or maybe a relaxing time in the Jacuzzi is what your body needs. Both men’s and women’s locker rooms are equipped with Jacuzzis, saunas, and steam baths. We also have an outdoor family-sized Jacuzzi that can be found just out the back of the country club on the river and another one at the hotel complex.
